Here are the pictures of the updated coffee pot cup with the new plaques I finally put on, headed on down later today to another victory celebration!

yep, I won't even need to put it in a booster seat for the drive to Charleston tonight :D

Interesting aside, I was going through a box in the attic last month and ran across my program for the 1999 US Open Cup - the competition that inspired the Coffee Pot Cup.

*should I be straining so hard to see if that's a reflection of some naked chick on the coffee pot pictures?

i haven't been around here long enough... can someone give me a rundown on what exactly the 'coffee pot' cup is? where the name came from, etc..

Indeed - I saw where you offered to fill it with the winner's choice of beverage - but then you filled it full of bud light - which is no one at all on the planet's beverage of choice ;)

Just for the record, Mikey and I got trumped on that one by someone with a higher pay grade. When I was going to fill it up, the Battery President intercepted me & changed the order to Bud Light. But he also only charged us $20 to fill it up.

Here's the game preview for tomorrow's matchup. I'm posting it here cause for the first time in my memory, the Coffee Pot Cup is actually mentioned in the Battery's press release. Cha-ching!

Had a great time with some of your fans last night on the Happy Hooligan's Pub Crawl. About 30 fans from Toronto, DC and Chucktown roaming the historic downtown streets. Good times.
