PSG are one point behind Lyon in the Ligue 1 table. They have a tough schedule remaining, with Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Rennais, LOSC, and Nice standing in the way. Can they break Lyon's seven year stranglehold on the title? Or are they paper tigers?

I'll vote yes, if only for the fact that for once we are in the second half of the season and there is still a legitimate competition for the French league, something I have never before seen.

I voted no on the basis that Lyon have not been at their best but are still ahead. They are bound to have an upturn in form.

You must be really young then. From 1994-2001, which wasnt that long ago, there was a different winner each year. Also Lyon's first few title wins were pretty close races.

are we seriously talking about ligue 1 here? I can not stand to watch this league and everytime it comes on t.v I have to instantly change the channel. last year a study was done and it showed that the MLS was watched more on televison than Ligue 1 was and the MLS is supposed to be horrible! can we seriously change the topic please.

Considering the amount of great shows that have been canned and the amount of dross that has survived I do not think you should put any stock in the viewing figures of those stateside.

OK Goalie1 I'm going to ignore your hostility and ask you (if you are stateside) where did you find Ligue 1 on tv to begin with? I've been looking for a channel that carries it but I can't find one, Setanta used to but not anymore :(

umm sometimes I find it on late at night on Fox soccer channel but you are right it is not on very often. I was mostly referring to highlights I see when watching fox soccer report or sky sports news

i've voted yes. Le Guen has made a couple of good experienced signings that have certainly helped a lot, we wont talk about Kezman however... Hoarau has kept up his fine scoring form since signing from Le Havre. 28 goals in Ligue 2 last season may have still been seen as a bit of a gamble but it looks to be paying off so far. is he being tipped for an international call up yet?
finally, if it's tight going into the final three matches then Lyon will have it extremely tough with away trips to Marseille and Toulouse.

PSG will not let the UEFA Cup take priority over the league so that means Lyon dont have an advantage just because they are out of Europe and PSG are still involved in Europe.

haven't heard anything about Hoarau being called up for les bleus. Gomis has been stumbling so we'll see but they're so loaded already.

There is a little X on the top right corner of your screen. Click on it if you don't like what you're seeing on your monitor.

Armand and Sakho are injured. Paris has no more left backs. Next question please.
