I push for this look (as an internet nut) every year. It's much classier than the loaf of wonderbread look.

...and to add on to this, I think DC United players should be required to wear black boots/cleats/shoes/whatever you want to call the things that go on your feet.
White shoes are an abomination
Silver/Gold shoes are an abomination
Any color shoes other than black are an abomination.

In the course of last season Tino wore lime, red, and bright blue boots, IIRC, but never black. I even thought of doing a poll: "Tino plays better in which color boots?"

I think Tino always did his best work in the bright blue shoes (they haven't been "boots" since like the 1920s).

If I remember correctly, we did pretty well against KC in 2007 wearing that "get up"...
