Hi guys, I wanna buy the Earthquakes jersey. Do you know any store that has it? I don't want to order it online.
Thanks!

Thanks for putting the [R] in the title. I have all soccer stores under video surveillance, but I havn't had a chance to watch the tapes yet.
The soccer store (Soccer World USA?) at the corner of Hamilton and San Tomas has a couple Quake jerseys, I think. The on-line Quakes store seems to have them in stock as well - this is you best bet to get a size that fits you.

I was just at Soccer International in Santa Clara (off of Trimble and 101) yesterday. They had Quakes shirts, jersey's, polos, jackets, and other stuff (no hats). However, some of the quality of the t-shirts were not the greatest. They were the blue Quakes t-shirts of last season with 2001 and 2003 Champions ironed on the shirt.
Also, there was miscellaneous Quakes and Clash patches, pins, etc.
Pricing was reasonable, but the customer service sucked...

Hey, I was at Soccer International yesterday, too! Finally making good on my wife's Christmas gift...
To answer the question, I was told they don't have any official "authentic" Quakes jerseys there, but they have two alternatives:
(1) If you're an XL, there are a handful of the previous model (1999-2002?) jersey (blue with white sleeves). They're long sleeve and $30 if I remember correctly. I really like these.
(2) There are all sorts of replica Quakes jerseys.
The address is 3270 Keller Street, Santa Clara. These guys do the jersey lettering for the Quakes, so that would be a great place to get names and numbers added.
The only place I know that has authentic jerseys in stock is earthquakessoccershop.com.

Hey guys do you know any stores in London, England where I can pick up a quakes jersey?

Good luck. It's exceedingly difficult to find a store in San Jose that carries Quakes jerseys. I doubt you'll find one in London. Your best (and perhaps only) bet is earthquakessoccershop.com (http://www.earthquakessoccershop.com) which does ship to international addresses.

It's my only bet, that's for sure. And I have no trouble pursuing this route for Quakes gear of all sorts.
Besides, I can't imagine the exchange rate being any worse from Britain to the USA than it is from Australia to the USA. In fact, I can pretty much guarantee that, with the Australian dollar coming pretty damn close to buying 80 U.S. cents at present.

I realize location says "formerly Denver" ... maybe it should read "formerly Northern California"?

if you buy it online from the quakes, they get your money as opposed to whatever store.
Having said that, when I was at the Nike outlet in Vacaville before C'mas, I bought a Quakes hoodie and a nice black Quakes baseball cap and didn't seem to have any qualms about it. Add in a mini ball and I got out of there for around $40.

On one hand, it is a plus to buy online, as all the $ goes to AEG. And that's really easy for those of us who spend a lot of time online talking about footie.
But we are not the average citizen/fan. Having gear in stores actually helps AEG even more as it encourages said stores to keep products on the shelves.

1 brit pound buys you around $1.70 IIRC, but my problem is while I stay here I have to buy british pounds, it really shortens how far your money can go dude, and everything is much more expensive than it is in the states, like a gap shirt can be £30 and the same shirt would be 25 bucks in the states, sneakers cost like £60 here, thats over 100 dollars!
A mocha from starbucks to take away is like $6!

I see what you mean-- the British pound, from what it sounds like, buys one about half as much as the Australian dollar.
So your point's well taken.
However, as you and I have the same problem, I think buying our gear online from the Quakes' soccer store is probably going to be our best (and only) hope.

I think you have it ass about face dude.
If 1 british pound is almost equivalent of 2 US dollars, it would be more like 3 or 4 australian dollars.
