In 1994, Valdo and Rai were playing in PSG and some papers here in Brazil said PSG´s fans couldn´t believe how come Valdo was not selected to play the World Cup.

Is it true?

And also is it true that Valdo used to be called Magic Valdo?

Yep that's true. In 1994, I was one of those who did not understand why Valdo wasn't part of the WC squad.
Before the signing of Rai, Valdo was the best player of PSG's 90s era! Definitely one of my favorite :)

I heard Valdo led Botafogo back into the Serie A. Is that right? Will he still play next season?

Last year he was fundamental for Botafogo´s triumph!
