Cram it up yer arse, Mancy. 18 TIMES, 18 TIMES, 18 TIMES!!!!!!! Shall I sing this, or shall I amuse myself of thinking about Liverpool's four - yes, FOUR -European Cup wins as opposed to Man U's measly two? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!

Mickey would never go to Old Trafford. He couldn't stand the stench of it. He will stay and he and Cisse will make a deadly strike-force.

Mmmmmmmmmm. No.

Can Owen take his team farther in Champions League? No. Nihat is really the only good player on his team. He did it all. Atleast Owen has some help.

Once again you talk shite.
Real sociedad have got players like kovacevic,karpin,etc....
This season real sociedad are near the foot of the table and nihat cant score because the defenders are wise to him now.
Please inform us of their league position and nihats goal tally .
will he be playing at euro 2004 this summer?? oh no I forgot he cant hack it at international level.

Karpin is like 40 and Sociedad is concentrating on Champions League. They are like 9th and are 8 points away from a championse lague spot. Nihat will get Sociedad into quarters.

No, Perez going on and on about Ruud and Henry is really just cover for the fact that he's going after Owen. He'll be with Becks and Raul at the Bernebau next year. ;)

Well that's because we don't seem to be able to stay in the Champions League for five minutes even when we get there.

Has Nihat ever scored a hatrick past the Germans on their home soil? Waht about when he almost single-handedly won that match for us (was it the Slovakia match, I forget?), or when he single handedly domolished Arsenal in the FA Cup Final despite the fact that we were clearly the worst team? Plus, he always has a decent goal tally even when he's blighted by injuries as he has been lately.

Just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons.

If Owen leaves because of no Champs League action do you agree that Bolton will do better in the UEFA Cup than Liverpool considering, on paper, we will have a better team.

As long as they qualify that is. ;-)

Michael Owen....has passed his peak.

I can see a Robbie Fowler situation occuring with Owen, not in terms of off-field distractions but a dramatic on the field decline.

Owen looked awesome a couplea years ago, Liverpool fans were saying he was a better than Henry. For a period back in 2001 he was arguably the best in the world, behind Raul that season IMO though but it reached a crescendo at the FA Cup Final & i dont think he has it in him to reach those heights again. Certainly not at Liverpool anyway.

He still a good player, regular goalscorer but whenever we face Liverpool these days i'm apathetic about Owen being in the team, where before i would cack it.
