Not sure how many good starting 11 players there are in the greater Vancouver area, but if he says that an Abbostford program will keep some players around, that could detract from UBC/TWU which might make things easier for UofA ;)

on a semi-related note
Calgary Mustangs signed Mesut Mert of Saint Mary's(CIS MVP of the year/CIS Nationals MVP) and Steve Frazao of UBC (Canada West leading scorer), and with their first round selection they selected Steven Richer of UBC (Canada West MVP)

Good to see a few CIS players getting a shot to make money playing soccer. The CIS is a better league then most give credit for.

i think Frazao will sign an amateur contract or something, cause i think Frazao still has some years of CIS eligibility left. A few guys @ UofA were on amateur contracts with the then Storm.
Last thing Frazao wants to do is pull a UofT and have the whole season forfeited :S
