I find it amazing that Montreal of the USL-1 ends up losing by just one goal (3-2) to the Houston Dynamo who finished 2nd overall last year in the MLS. It shows that Montreal is probably just one or two top players shy (and an expansion team) of being a top league team in the MLS. First lost in 10 games for the Impact since the beginning of the training camp.

Interesting but really it wasn't a serious game to draw any conclusions from. It was only a 70 minute game after all. Both teams are trying to get back their fitness and timing for next weeks return CCL games. It would be pretty neat if both teams meet in the semi-finals though.

That and you were playing against some of our backups. Plus Ching came on in the 2nd then scored 2 goals.

But yes, I do agree that if this team as it is was put in MLS, it would do very well.

Ching scored against our new recrute goalie who didn't played any game yet . Well all can say is ,we shall see in the semi final of the CCL :p and I can't wait for that ,since Dynamo is my favorite MLS team.

I do hope Montreal and Houston meet in the next round. If today's friendly is any indication, fireworks will be going off between these two.

I want to face the houston Dynamo in the semi-final because don garber will have no choice to come to Montreal and see that we ready for the MLS with another huge crowd, also i want to advise you guys that matt jordan only play halftime and the player didn’t play our best game as per coach John Limniatis so montreal impact can beat any MLS teams at any time
