little update :
monaco atomized lyon
lyon was leading in the game and on the scoreboard during the whole 1st half, but morientes scored a goal with a great shot in the 1st half extratime
in the 2nd half monaco scored 3 more goals : hat trick for morientes, and the last goal by prso.
the 1st and only goal for lyon was scored by elber.
it's a shame the atmosphere was *#*#*#*#, the stadium was dead empty
Monaco 4 - 1 Lyon
yesterday: Bayonne (CFA) 0 - 2 PSG (L1)

with a bit of luck for Brive, a big mistake of Fabien Cool who couldn't stop a free kick in the middle of his cage. Then all Brive players played the defense.. It's the coupe de France, things like that always happen. CFA = 4th division :)

Last update : 8e de finale de Coupe de France:
The last game has just ended, it was Toulouse (L1, 20th) - Rennes (L1, 11th). Rennes had a very bad start, and Toulouse scored first, thanks to Faure (27'). In 2nd half, Monterrubio entered the field and then Rennes started to dominate the game. Monterrubio scored (64'), and Rennes had a lot of shots but were unlucky, and Toulouse GK did really great. The score didn't change after the extratime, so there was a penalty kick session. Toulouse was leading since Tony Vairelles missed the 2nd penalty kick, and Petr Cech saved Rennes in extremis in the 5th and last shot (before his save) by Faure. Then, it's again a Rennes player, Lamine Diatta, who's just returned from Senegal selection, who missed his PK (the 8th). But once again, Petr Cech stopped the next PK by Avezac and saved Rennes from elimination. Then, Jacques Faty scored the 9th PK (7th goal), and the incredible PETR CECH stopped the last PK, and eliminated Toulouse!!
Sorry for the long report, but there was so much tension and happening, I've got to evacuate ;)
So, here are the complete results:
Brive (CFA) 1 - 0 Auxerre (L1)
Bayonne (CFA) 0 - 2 Paris SG (L1)
Nantes (L1) 4 - 0 Brest (Nat)
Monaco (L1) 4 - 1 Lyon (L1)
Toulouse (L1) 1 - 1 (7 t.a.b à 6) Rennes (L1)*
Amiens (L2) 1 - 0 Caen (L2)
Chateauroux (L2) 2 - 0 Créteil (L2)
Dijon (Nat)* 1 - 1 (4 t.a.b. à 2) Reims (Nat)

I have a question. Are Rennes renovating their stadium because few times Iv'e seen highlights from a game there their only appeared to be people sitting behind the goals. The main stands appeared to be empty and they looked like they were being worked on.
