WOW! It seems MLS is at a place some of the other leagues want to get to. The only difference are the fat TV contracts and the character of it's players. Except for Beckham most MLS players are nothing like the skumbags in the NBA and baseball.

hey, if MLS players got the exposure and the money that baseball and basketball players got there'd be just as many "skumbags" like Joey Barton or Craig Bellamy or that championship goalkeeper that drove drunk and killed that girl. Or even the guys who stole that toilet seat.

Beckham is far from a "scum bag" he just got sick and tired of passing a ball to the Pete Vagenas' of MLS and getting a water melon back.

he should have signed a 2 year deal then, or had an option after 2 years.
