The THAAD missile is really something. High success rate shooting down enemy missiles including anti-ship missiles.
The San Antonio class makes it virtually impossible to hit it with missiles.

The imagery and resolution of that film is really bad. Plus looking at the carrier, the planes are up on deck, and you can't tell what the ships crew are even doing. Looks like the ship was passing through an area where they weren't flying a CAP and they were in a non aggresive posture.
Hell just watch the video I put up of the Ike to get a better idea, and a better video of what a carrier looks like.
And this is a future weapon how?

Not really much in either video. Notice in the second video that they keep reshowing the same 3 missile launches? And only show 1 hit, and they show it over and over again. Not anything impressive.

This view shows the successful test of Iran's submarine launched land attack missile.
So is this meant to be a serious piece? What a fluff propaganda piece. We see a Soviet era Kilo class sub, then we see a contrail from the sub which is obviously a missile, but we don't see the flight of the missile or it hit any target. Really sub-standard stuff here.

YouTube - Future Weapons: USS San Antonio (LPD-17) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wTm6ilVLok&feature=related)There have been a whole bunch of problems with the San Antonio. It still wasn't finished two years after it left the shipyard supposedly done. It has had recurring problems with many of its major systems even as recently as a few months ago.

Iran tests air-to-surface missile
The 1,100-pound precision missile mounted on jet fighters has a 70-mile range.
Reporting from Beirut -- Iran has test-fired a precision air-to-surface missile with a 70-mile range, a news agency reported Sunday, a capability that could threaten ships in the Persian Gulf.
Iran's semiofficial Fars New Agency cited unnamed Iranian military experts saying the 1,100-pound missiles mounted on jet fighters include an "automatic guidance capability" and a "special warhead" for destroying large ships.
