DC United will have their annual First XI Kick-Off Luncheon on March 24th

(this is actually two days after their season opener against LA Galaxy)
All proceeds go to United For DC, the charitable arm of DC United
Basic cost per individual is $150
The real kicker is that this time it will be held OUTSIDE of Washington DC and be at the Gaylord Center at National Harbor - IN PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY
Not that this is a make or break function for downtown hotels, but it does signal an end to spending money in DC and shifting that spending to Prince Georges County, the new home for DC United - Oddly enough, last year the Washington Nationals baseball team held a big function in the offseason, but NOT in DC, the city that gave it a $600 M stadium, but also at the Gaylord Center
