I don't see how you could possibly put Andres Arango, who's almost 21 and has managed 5 total minutes with the Montreal Impact, on this list over guys like Ricardo Clark and Kyle Beckerman, or even people like Mike Magee, Justin Mapp, Eddie Johnson, Eddie Gaven, etc. who are younger and have a good deal more professional minutes at a higher level.

From this group I say no question Landon Donovan, he is proven at all levels of competition he the real deal, from the world cup, youth national cups, MLS Cup, and all the other things he has done he is always class....

Hargreaves is a close close second, but didnt he completely shun Canada to play for England, basically played for Canadian youth his younger years then just up and said forget it, I am going to play for England they are better....this is on contributing factor on my choice of him, but also I just think Donovan has done better things than him at the biggest stages...

I am impressed with Hume for sure after that peformance at the U20 WC but still have to pull Donovan cause of all over accomplishments

i agree with the americans selected; however, beasley and adu could also warrant a spot in this poll. hume and hutchison are good choices as well, but arango and heargraves have no place here. arango is simply not talented enough and owen isn't even considered canadian when it comes to being a soccer player.

i'm also positive that some mexican and central american prospects were overlooked in this poll. a young mexican by name of perez, in particular. so could the latin american posters please nominate some talented youngsters?

I voted for Landon Donovan.....although Alberto Medina from Mexico would have been my choice if his knee wasn't torn up.

Maybe they should have let him at least get through high school.

Cut the misinformation. It was Quintanilla who was injured, not Adu.
