I see Costa Rica taking that match. However, Honduras is always such an unpredictable side that runs so hot and cold so if they get hot it should be a tight match.

I saw CR vs mex
the ticos are better prepared physically....but talent wise they are all the same! It will take a better preparation mentally from the bench to overcome each other.... the same goes for the other game
USA: gives up too many goals, has pros in the top of the formation with more experience than the mexies
MEX: is the local team baby! that is hard to overcome in that country, good luck to both.... no word if ABC or a mexican Mogul in tv to pick up the game?
I also heard couple of comments in radio and TV....that the level of the tournament was pist poor... will you concurr to that?

The level might be piss poor, but we must use hindsight. Must realize that most of these players are just kids and for a lot of them they have little or no exposure to this type of situation up to this point. And I believe a few of the countries are missing some of their better stars due to club involvement overseas. So piss poor....maybe, but these aren't senior internationals(for the most part).

Regardless of who wins we should be proud of the teams. Not take it out on others! I don't mean to preach, but all the negativity s**ks!!

WHAT if 92 minutes of regulation give you a tie?
How they decide, straight PKs like the conmebol decision to athens? or 30 minutes of OT
6 times in a row from The Usa in the olympics, can some one post, how they made it to the last 2 olympics?
good luck to both tonite.

I am not too familiarized with our sub 23 nor with Mexico's. I've heard the MX team plays better than the National, any comments?

It seems that the sub-23 Mexican team plays better as a team than the senior team. The last few matches, the senior team seems to have trouble in the midfield and up front. It just seems like they're kicking the ball around waiting for someone to do something. The sub-23 seems to have a bit more cohesion in their game, but I haven't seen all the games, and it does look like they have not played the best match that they are capable of.

Well in 96 we didn't have to qualify since the Olympics were held in the area surrounding Atlanta (at least the soccer games were).

so no ones knows?
today things are heating up... this morning during the USA's checking of the field: LD and 2 others took a piss on the ground of the sacred temple of futbol, el coloso de guadalajara!
the press did not liked and comments on radio are not very friendly, for the lack of respect and for having so many people around during the visit.
