new Incubus album, A Crow Left of the Murder

I thought it was pretty damn good. It was different from their previous stuff. It kinda sounded smiliar to the last few Pearl Jam albums. If you like PJ I think you might like this album.

i've only heard one song and it's okay, but the beauty of incubus often lies in the non-radio cuts

That first single was a political song wasnt it?? I think it was called meglomaniac or something.
A band like incubus should stick to writing songs about surfing and the sh't they normally sing about.

even if it is a failed experiment, i fail to see why they should be discredited for it - if they did the same album everytime, you'd call them a one trick pony... no way to win - besides, incubus write songs about the human condition... just because brandon sang a line about having his toes in the sand once, doesn't make them a surf band

I've listened to it a few times now and I must say it's friggin' brilliant. Early contender for best rock album of the year.
