OK. Probably been posted before and not important anyway but I have nothing else to do so I thought I'd throw this up on the wall.

Apparently, MLS has decided to change the name of its PPV package from Shootout to DirectKick. I was browsing the D* site to see if my renewal for SO was listed and saw that I was renewed for "MLS Direct Kick 2004". Man, was I relieved. I was REALLY upset that they called it Shootout but the SO was done away with a couple of years ago. Of course they could have tried "MLS UpTick" (change in clock direction) or "MLS GuessHowMuch" (less precise stoppage time). But DK will do.

Actually, the encouraging thing is that at least there's a chance we'll get an MLS PPV package this year. There was some talk on another forum that the MLB EI was in some (although admittedly small) doubt.

=NLK=

PS Considering I'm on D*, they could have named it "MLS GuessWhat", as in, guess which games you'll get. :)

This is funny because someone at MLS told me thatthe Shootout would be back for sure, but he didn't say they were changing the name.

Local TV deals are being worked on, which is keeping things from being announced.
