I believe the key to success in football (when you don't have hudreds of millions at your disposal like Barça or United) is a club's youth academy.
Obviously some Pachuca made players include; Jaime Correa, Fausto Pinto, Cesáreo Victorino, Gerardo Rodríguez, Luis Landín and Omar Arellano among others.
So, who do we have coming up through the ranks now? The latest to break through to the first team and get significant minutes are Paul Aguilar, Marco Pérez, José Francisco Torres, Luis Montes and Edy Brambila are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head.
Other players to look out for are the teenager Víctor Omar Mañón who has already made his first division debut, Raúl Martínez has seen a few minutes here and there and also Alfonso Blanco (currently on-loan at Cruz Azul) who is or possibly was the starting U-20 national team goalkeeper is one to keep an eye on. Rodolfo Cota, the current substitute for Calero, could in the near future compete with Blanco for Miguel Calero's soon to be vacant #1 spot.
