Why are they waiting until the rest of the teams play their quarterfinal matches before these two square off in their first 5th round match?

Why wouldn't they play their first 5th round match next week when everyone else is playing their replays? That way if one of them prevails, they'll be back on schedule.

It doesn't make sense.
