Michael Ryder - he goes from desperately trying to make the team to top 3 in scoring and first line player for a team in desperate need of goals.

yea but not only is Raycroft the top goaltender among rookies, he's also among the top goaltenders in the league. Plus you can say the same about Bergeron that you said about Ryder.

all right. while its true that Raycroft is one of the top goaltenders but he's split time (until recently when he just took over), I think that Bergeron is the wrong comparison.
Trent Hunter and Ryder are comparable, but they both, in less games, with less average ice time, have more points than Bergeron. And while 7-10 points is not that much, it is going to be with regards to who wins the rookie scoring race.
Its probably true that Raycroft will win it if he remains on the pace he's on, he's having a year better than when Nabokov won it.
But i'd still prefer Ryder to take it.
