Manchester City's move to Umbro is confirmed on the Umbro Blog (http://blog.umbro.com/blogs/) and Man City homepage (http://www.mcfc.co.uk/default.sps?pagegid=%7BDBD12D53-8346-431D-A04F-5D0F8664DE80%7D&newsid=6633855).

The City site also gives a small peek at the shirt which seems to confirm the leaks - plain white round collar.

I found this part especially interesting ...

The third kit draws its inspiration on a classic kit of the past, whilst embracing craft and attention to detail to create a very modern twist. The shirt has a black and red sash across a white base with the team sponsor located under the crest to ensure that the visual identity of the sash is not compromised. Umbro worked closely with MCFC and Etihad to ensure the design authenticity stays true.

The red on the SS jersey just looks out of place, but on the LS one it looks fantastic.

actually in this pic you can see the red goes down the side....quite an interesting jersey! i think i like it....but yes i think the LS is better looking

green and white are the colors of Palmeiras, and the red is cuz of the Italy flag (green/white/red)

and Idk, I didnt like it so much.. I mean, I wouldnt buy it ;p
I think they should stick with red details, and only.. that whole part in red is too different for me.. but lets see, maybe watching the games and all the shirt starts to grow on me

WIth the red sleeve portion, everyone on the Palmeiras team looks like they're captain.

The Benfica shirt is epic. Very classy, but at the same time funky.

Sunderland, after releasing such a great home shirt, has a pretty lame away shirt - it looks just like the Man Utd away from the CL final.
