View Full Version : New Jerseys Thread v. "What was Umbro thinking?"

The new Man U top is absolutely horrible. Those eyelets and string look stupid, and the placement of the sponsor/logo is just awkward.
That Liverpool shirt is class though. By far the best kit we've seen from adidas for next season.

Three more jerseys from ziablo0 of serbenfiquista.com.

He created these for the 2010/2011 season, in which Benfica will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their first European Cup (CL) title. If adidas creates something half as good as these, I'd be more than happy.

I don't think it's a big deal right now, especially considering some of the rumored jerseys pictured this early turn out to be fake anyways. I posted a fans creation who also happens to have an inside with someone who works for Adidas. His previous creations the past two seasons were pretty close to the actual product. Anyways, once April and May come around and teams start releasing their new jerseys, little nuisance posts like the one I previously posted will be lost in the mix and long forgotten.

Most of the rumored jerseys if not all usually are real. Mock ups and illustrations are generally fake as unless they came from a catalog or designers site they are always fan created. Rumored kits usually are shown throw cell phone pics with the tag attached. It isn't a big deal but there are so many fan created pics out there that this thread would be flooded with mock ups.
Perhaps a fantasy jersey thread is in order.

Fair enough, I didn't think of it that way, my bad. I'll avoid posting fan mock ups in this thread.
The Scotland jersey looks OK, but I don't like the navy loops around the shoulder and the mock collar.
The Man U away jersey has to be fake, right? It reminds me of the "puffy shirt" for some reason.

Sad it will never make it to a World Cup. Sorry Tartan Army.

I really like the Ireland kit. Here's hoping the new England kit is similar template. Personally the last England away kit was alright but the Ireland home kit based on the same template was much better. Let's hope Umbro under nike get it right this time. Has to be for £50

Manchester United's jersey with the Club World Cups badge from FIFA (looks much like the badge Italy is wearing for the World Cup).
