I know this is a hot topic but I just want the blankitos to be aware of, there may be people that is not going to be too nice down in ES
YOu know why so I guess you just have to suck it up like the rest of us do here in the States.

Except it's not racism, it's rampant nationalism.
And they have some good reasons for not liking us too much down in those parts, especially El Salvador and Nicaragua.
I mean, how would you feel if someone funneled arms in your country causing a prolonged civil war and a lot of deaths?

I think Costa Rica and Mexico are hated more than the US in the rest of Central America.

Agreed, although in El Salvador i think it would be something like this;
Most "hated" for this Hex:
Honduras/Mexico
Costa Rica/USA
Trinidad

If we are the least hated team and we were treated so badly then I really feel sorry for the rest of teams :D

I don't think we're gonna face much racism, they're definetly going to be loud and a bit intimidating, but nothing to complain about. Mexicans are going to have it harder, especially in Honduras after a commentator for ESPNDeportes was talking trash before their last game, can't wait for "La revancha" :D

You should google the contras and the sandistas. Learn how that piece of human garbage Ronald Reagan helped over throw a democratically elected government. A government that was making progress in improving people's lives at that. Central Americans have valid reasons to dislike the US, but I've found that most people are willing to get to know someone on an individual level and don't "hate Americans".

Im a Salvadoran Salvadoran, borned and raised there.
Here are a few things to think about it.
1. We are hardcore at soccer and it doesnt matter if we are not as good as La Liga, we love soccer!
2. There is a feeling that most Salvis are racist even the brown ones although many of us feel like when it comes to sports (soccer to be more specific) anything counts just like wars, so we do what we can inside and outside the field (sometimes not in a nice way).
3. Everything used to be vrs Mexico and Honduras, not the case now days.
4. I think Costa Rica is on top of the list now for whats been happening lately but the US since to be a rising hate at least in soccer, they are the powerhouse of modern soccer in CCC.
5. If you are going down there, be carefull sp with drunks, some people do care about history but they truth is, the youngsters down, if anything have to do with politics would be immigrants treating badly now days. Other than that, yes we are violent and when we are drunk is even worse.
6. Call it nationalism, pride, fanatism, fascism, point is, there is going to be a little trouble down there, you have to start getting used to since soccer is on the way up in here. The US wants to be the king of CCC, now get used to the hate, im not joking.
I fail to think is going to be an easy match, our players are going to go like warriors to challenge every single ball.
Good stuff, hoping my people to control themselves and not to do anything crazy. Hope to see a great game, at least for us to remember positive things about it.
Not the US is not the most hated team in CCC now days but it wont take long for them to be :D
