You are right. Kacar is still struggling to get back into shape, offensively he is pretty unusable right now, but defensively I think that he did a good job.
But I think that he will be completely fit soon,so there is nothing to worry about.

Traum tor :)
Good point at Hamburg. Okay we lost ground on Wolfsburg, but we don't do well usually going to Hamburg and what a class goal.

The "old lady" Hertha still gets underestimated ... but if you have a look at her schedule, you'll notice that she has a good chance to finish among the top 3 this season!

it would be nice to see them finish high. the only thing I don't like is when teams play in stadiums with olympic tracks keeping fans farther away from the action.

Magath interested in Kacar? (http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/hertha/2009/05/07/gojko-kacar/was-laeuft-da-mit-schalke-und-magath.html)
Apparently it says that Magath is a big fan of Kacar, but Hertha wants at least 12 mil for him. In my opinion, Hertha is more talented team than Schalke, and he should just stay there until he develops into a real leader and world class player.

Talented or not, Magath has done wonders with Wolfsburg and now he might have alittle bit more income to do similar things with Schalke.
One never knows.

That is what scares me , yes. With the signing of Magath,it looks like Schalke is determined to build a team which will play an important role in all competitions next year.So I guess they will bring in some big names, for a hefty sums of money. Now, Kacar is extremely talented but he still has not built that kind of reputation in Germany, which would allow him to parry bigger names and more experienced players.I think that Hertha suits him perfectly at the moment.

I donīt think that Magath will have more money to spend at Schalke than he had at Wolfsburg. The Club invested more than 30 million euros in new players this season, thats what Schalke spends in 2-3 years normally.

How about academy at Schalke vs Wolfsburg as it sounds like they are going to focus on the youth at Schalke?

Hopefully this run of form continues.

So, what we have now is this:
Wolfsburg(60): DORTMUND,Hannover, WERDER
Bayern(60): BAYER, Hoffenheim, STUTTGART
Hertha(59): Koln, SCHALKE, Karlsruhe
Stuttgart(58): Schalke, COTTBUS, Bayern
Realistically speaking, out of these four clubs Hertha has the best schedule.
So, anything can happen, even the title.:)
Also, I expect Dortmund to win remaining 3 matches and 4th spot.

Great win. Win against Schalke and we'll be in a great situation, no matter what.
AUFGEHTS HERTHA KAMPFEN UND SIEGEN.
btw, Pantelic is transforming himself. Mini-renaissance I hope :) Playing superbly, two fine assists today.

Beat Schalke (thanks to BMG, they have nothing to play for) next weekend in a sold-out Olympiastadion and let Bayern & Golfsburg drop some points on the road ... and I'm sure you'll be close to suffering a heart attack! :-))

Would have been a surprise if Hertha would not have won the game against that ugly club.
Berlin vs Schalke will be THAT match, the city must be overjoyed if they can win it. I will freak out if Hertha will have a festival on Berlin streets...

To be a fan of certain teams, you gotta be a sort of masochist.

Hertha played a great season. Bottled it big time in the end, sucks for you, great for us, but it's still been a very good season for them overall considering the quality of many of the sides who finished behind them in the league.
