What a lucky goal I wasn't even expecting it, when in went in my reaction was so delayed kinda funny actually
That goal summed up the entire Hertha season to this point......

Pure envy.
Hertha wasn't lucky at all in this season. Up to now we defeated Bayern, Hoffenheim, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Leverkusen twice. If we would have been just lucky the ref wouldn't have stolen our victory about Wolfsburg and we would lead by 7 points.

We've been lucky man. Its nice though that we haven't had to rely as much on luck in the last few weeks, but it still worries me that we haven't blown away any opponent in anger (and I don't count Karlsruhe and Hannover as "blow out games" as we were lucky in those games as well!)

I do not agree. I do not see how we have been more "lucky" than many other teams like Wolfsburg. Luck and unluck are canceled out over the season.
We have not been lucky against Leverkusen. They had almost no chances and we had two and converted one. When we scored I knew that Leverkusen would not be able to come back. They were not able to dominate us with their passing game because we didn't allow that to happen.
The whole "luck" discussion is nonsense anyway. Usually having a lot of luck is claimed for Bayern but it was always nonsense either.
I don't care about all the jealous whiners. Yeah, maybe we do not win it all. Probably we will not. But still we are there because Favre formed a real team where everybody runs for each other, with a solid defense and pretty good fast passing (compared to past seasons) and fast counters.

Well, whatever. I still luck has played an inordinate part of our success (as has everything Lucien Favre has done). No matter what happens, our success this season has only been able to happen because of Favre's tactical genius, like they say, you make your own luck.

Thank you man. The guy calling me "envious" really doesn't know me very well, does he???
I guess he doesn't know I'll be happy for you if you do win the title.
"Jealous whiners"
What a f#ckin' idiot.
Almost as big of an idiot as Ebert and K-P Boateng.

Hertha puts money on the table...the talk is they are offering something around US$ 7,5 millon. In a meeting between Gabriel Ruiz-Tagle and Dieter Hoeness it was agreed that the player would not leave before half term.

Who are we trying to get posteador?
As expected, Ebert has been suspended indefinitely for his escapades with a certain former player.
I guess that means Kacar will pair with Dardai and Nicu and Cicero will play the wings. Its not a catastrophic loss as both Nicu and Cicero can play there. Or, if Kacar is still not deemed fit, Raffael could play out on the wings and Pantelic partners Voronin. I prefer option 1 at the moment.
Did I just prefer an option where Pantelic doesn't play at all?!?!?!:eek:

Lucas Barrios.
Argentinian striker from Colo-Colo. Tall and strong but also very skillsfull for his size and aware of his surroundings.

The time difference and the lack of soccer viewing options are killing me atm, but allegedly, Rodnei has signed on for another 2 years.

Hertha captain Arne Friedrich suffered meniscus damage during this past weekend's home loss to Borussia Dortmund.
According to this article (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=reu-germanyherthafriedrich&prov=reuters&type=lgns), he will have surgery on Wednesday and could possibly miss the rest of the season.

This could very well be Hertha's downfall all the way to UEFA or even worse.

Yep.
We peaked too soon :-/
Qwehehehehe!!! Atzenpower with Frauenarzt! Heeey, das geht ab! :D
That song is great. Really sounds good sung by a few hundred people.
It's also easy for fans of other clubs to change the lyrics like BVB fans did "Hey das geht ab. Wir versau'n euch die Meisterschaft." :D
We were singing "Wir holen den 12. Platz!"

Love that song too...but they jinxed it!! >:(
Haven't responded here for awhile because, well I can't report what I can't see... :( although I should be happy that I can't atm... :(

Impressive comeback after the 0:1 (and this without Voronin). Congrats!
Must have been the perfect day for you, Wayne. ;)

OMG.
Out of all the games we didn't deserve to win, today definitely takes the cake  Wow Hoffenheim are just plumb outta luck, how we didn't lose by at least 2...
Sanogo's effort symbolized it for me near the end. At least Pantelic,Simunic, von Bergen and Ebert kinda played well. Kacar just does not look the same, maybe he's not match fit...

Very precious win for your guys last night. Congrats!
I'm really surprised to see you beat Werder & Hoffenheim without Voronin. Kudos.
