I know there are several Gol TV employees that frequent these boards, I've posted this in hopes of you guys finding it.
Can you please inform whoever it is that does the English version of A Todo Gol that when discussing the Eredivisie club that plays their matches in the Amersterdam ArenA they should pronounce it correctly. It is not like the company that produces rocket powered roller skates in the Bugs Bunny cartoons, or the guys that make Comet abrasive cleaner. It is Ajax, where the "j" is pronounced like a "y", and the first "a" is pronounced like a hard "i".

D'oh.......you are right. But they do make Comet cleaner, don't they? See what happens when I try to be smug?

I thought that was the Roadrunner. Not saying that maybe Bugs Bunny didn't use rocket powered roller skates ONCE in a while, but Wile E Coyote used them, like, every other show. (boy, this is WAY more important than work ...! :D )

Oh, and I believe Comet and Ajax are two competing cleansers.

Okay, people, I think we are missing the point here. I-yacks......not A-jacks......that's all I'm saying.

Thank you for the comment. I promise you that I'll pass this info to the 'A Todo Gol' production team and the commentator in particular. We'll see next Sunday ;-)
