I can't wait, I have tickets and will be with the traveling supporters at the Reebok

-----------DudeK
Finnan-----H---H------Carra
TLT----Didi------SG----Harry
--------Owen--- Cheyrou(or maybe Baros?FSP?)

Luzi
Murphy
Riise
Biscan
Smicer/Baros?Cheyrou?

Off the Derby everyone deserves to play but perhaps we need some more direct attacking and one of the Baros/FSP pairing might play if GH thinks they are ready. This is an important match. Discuss.

Have a fantastic time--will be looking forward to hearing all about it of course.

I got offered a ticket for this, but some friend of the little lady's is getting married. On a bloody Saturday! At 3pm!! I shall be having words with her feller, I can tell you that much.

I'm getting married in September.

At 2pm. On a Friday.

I mean, it's just common sense, innit? ;)

Anyhoo, as to the game, let us hope that we can take the vibrant play from the Derby and make it stick in Bolton.

Absolutely. And well done on several counts.

I take it honeymoon plans will be finalized when the fixtures are released? ;)

Oh, LF: I haven't been yet, either. Kinda tough when your work schedule revolves around the academic calander.

Bit worried myself. Bolton are firing on all cylinders at the minute, where as we're hardly in scintilating form (as usual). Could take some post derby aggression out on them though.

Nah - going to Oz where you can catch the games on telly quite easily though. :p

I once rescheduled a trip to Boston, at great cost, to get me there in time to watch a match against ManU at 6 AM in a f'ing pub. Sheesh. That could be why I'm divorced now, I'm not sure.

(Although, there is something to be said for watching Steven Gerrard score the wonder goal at 6 AM in some random pub in a city I just arrived in hours before, surrounded by already drunk Scotsmen who are only cheering b/c they hate Liverpool less than ManU.)

Oh and I'll be at Anfield for the City game on Wednesday. In between I'm going to see Leeds-Wolves in an early relegation battle on Tuesday.

By the way, I think the Bolton game should be a good one, perhaps Otsy will be playing for them.

That makes me feel a little better, but I lived in England for two years...never knew one could get tickets rather easily from a scalper. I'm pathetic really. ;)

Congrats in advance Matt.

Let’s see I got married in Liverpool in September.
10 years later I got married in Tahoe Nevada in April.
Then 10 years after that I got married in Park City Utah.

I guess I’m just hard to live with!
Third time's the charm, she’s great!

Poxy bastid. It's a gift from my spouse. Another of the Summer's crowd is going as well. He's never been so I'm going to show him the town. Monday we'll do the Museum and tour. Then go on the Magical Mystery Tour and visit all the Beatles spots.

I am a lucky bastid.

Wow! You too. I went to some lengths to see that exact same match, I believe. I took an overnight Greyhound bus from central PA to NYC and made my way to the Kinsale Tavern (LFC-New York Supporters hangout at the time) for the 6am kick-off. First time I had ever been there. Stevie scored about a quarter of an hour in with a bomb of a goal and Fowler got another before halftime in the 2-0 home win during the Treble year. It certainly made the effort getting there worth it! Of course, unlike you, I wasn't married . . . and maybe that's why! (And now I'm going have to go watch the highlights again with my e-Season Ticket!)

Now back on topic (kind of) . . . Have a great time liverbird.

There's no way we don't pick up all three in this match. Okocha is still in Tunisia right?

Not been yet either. Next year is the year, though; come fall, the nest will be empty.

Have fun, LB!

I'd love to feel that confident, but I just watched Man City score 4 goals in the second half while down to 10 men against Spurs in their FA Cup tie...anything can happen. Of course that's why it's the beautiful game too. :)

I hope Mikey gets a goal in this one. It seems to start with one for him, and then is followed by a torrent of goals. He hasn't been as sharp as usual after this latest injury, but as I said it only takes one

With Pongolle back from his groin strain at least we'll have options up front - even if he doesn't make the starting XI it'll be great to have an attacker on the bench.

IMHO Cheyrou will feature heavily in this one - and maybe score again!
