Saw the trailer for the new Cohen Brothers movie in the theatre on Saturday night. One of the funniest ones I have seen and I will be mad if it turns out to be an awful movie.

Tom Hanks plays a southern gentleman (sounding like a parody of Foghorn Leghorn) who leads a group of crooks in robbing a casino in the south. Problem is that they are staying in the rooming house of a proper elderly lady who thinks they are a christian music group.

Sounds like a remake of the old British Ealing comedy starring Alec Guiness .

Looks like the Yanky creative output is all out of juice then. I guess you can always lean on old Blighty to dig you out a hole though.

Here's hoping the Coen brothers bounce back nicely from Intolerable Cruelty. This one looks more like one of theirs.
