Everyone is so shocked, shocked by this event that they can't stop replaying it and turning away in horror.

When is this pubescent, publicity-stunt one-upmanship between these overgrown Mouseketeers finally going to end? Time to take the Mouse ears off, kids and grow up.
When is this generation going to produce a decent rebellious punkish band to come and wash these spoiled brats out of the American consciousness and into celebrity boxing?
Resident Bigsoccer teenagers and college students, I blame you. Get some taste.

Iīm torn. On one hand, I think all the hoopla and outrage over one damn breast is mega stupid. Itīs a freakin breast! She didnīt blow him on stage!
On the other hand, I hate all the BS about it being unitentional and a "wardrobe malfunction". They showed it again in Los Protagonistas and its crystal clear that Timberlake was going to rip it out and expose her. He clearly looks at it and go to do that. So maybe the should be punished for that BS about it being a mistake when it was clear it was what they planned. And maybe that way, MTV will end the stupid "shocking moment" phase they are at now.

hmmm. This was the Super Bowl, the biggest single sporting extravaganza in the USA if not the world. And Janet Jackson?
Q. Are any of the Jackson's deserving of the spotlight any more?
This is just a blatant publicity stunt to be 'famous' again. How truly sad.

When I first saw it, I thought there was a covering over the nipple, a la Lil' Kim at some MTV event a few years ago.

There was. Some kind of star or something. Therefore totally ruining the "accidental" excuse.

The half-time show sucked. The exposing just shows what this talentless bunch of performers had to resort to show that they were trying to "entertain". My dog could put on a better performance than Timberlake, Jackson, PDiddy, Nelly, Kid Rock did.

The real tragedy is that people were actually watching the halftime show. I missed it.
Check the Simpons season 3 DVD for brilliant satire on the crappiness of halftime shows. "Hooray for Everything!!!"

Well, we've ignored her to the point where she has to pull off this crap to get attention, so really you should be thanking us. Give it a couple of hitless years. She'll be on par with Latoya soon enough.
And besides, you people are running society. You're putting us in this position with your commercialism and the rickita rackita. Don't blame us, square. :D

Can someone explain to me why these "artists" are so popular? Is there any creativity, or imagination, or talent, involved in what they produce? Other than "attitude."
Frank Sinatra had attitude. But he could also sing a song.
I watched in disbelief as every song had lyrics blatantly mentioning sex... well, those lyrics that you could understand. As for the music, half of what passes for music these days lacks any.
