Is he a good buy for the team? Or is he part of the reality the team faces?

Part of the reality the team faces? And what would that be?

I'm not saying they will go down, but what if they overspend and go down (like Sunderland)?

Carl Court is by no means overspending. If Wolves do go down, it will not spell financial ruin, in fact, one of the principal supporters complaints this season has been that the board didn't spend ENOUGH.

As for Carl, I'd like to see him play more before I make a judgement. Is he the savior to guide Wolves' to Premiership safety? Probably not, BUT, this team might just be hitting a stride, and I see no reason why he couldn't be a decent role player in the fight. Paul Jones apparently had a decent game as well, and it'll be nice to finally get out of the nightmare scenario of Carl Ikeme having to go out into a Premier League match if Michael Oakes gets hurt.

Now that the title of this thread is fixed, the issue with Cort with Newcastle was his ability to stay healthy. So far so good with Wolves.
