Michael Bradley's brace gives the USA a dream start to the Hexagonal round, with a 2-0 USA win over Mexico.

Good result.
Game overall was sloppy, slow and didn't seem nearly as passionate as other US v Mexico games.
I hope they keep Sven on as coach forever in Mexico, they looked incredibly weak.

MOTM was obviously Bradley. Defense was good, center mids were good. Outside mids were poor (Coach tied his own hands by cutting Rogers from the 20-he should have pulled Dempsey or later DB but no one to put in). Forwards were average although Donovan made two very good opportunistic plays-they had no space to work with. Altidore really did nothing-that was a wasted sub.

Rafa should be suspended for a year, but will probably get 2-3 games.

Good win for the boys! I'll take 2-0
Thought nobody played poorly.
For me Dempsey was the midfield glue in the first half but they put the clamps on him in the second. MB played well, Boca (solid) and Beas (good crosses and possession) also stood out.
After the 65min I was frankly disappointed that as a team we couldn't put a 10 man team under more pressure. Poor switching of the ball and Frankie had nobody to overlap on the right so anytime the ball came to him it was always going to go right back. Who was supposed to over there? CD?

This game could have been 5-0 really. LD and Deuce looked really jet lagged IMO.

Pretty poor game for the US, IMHO. A few players did well, but there were way too many errors all around and a lot of very mediocre performances.

Thanks m8, I will admit you had me scared until the very last minute. Didn't think you played poorly.

A real "blockbuster" of a win...LOL :D 2-0 feels right and the mexicant fans squealing like stuck pigs is just icing on the cake.
PS: I won a case of beer on this game from a guy at work so it's a win-win situation.

Great result, great first 45. I thought we were a little disappointing in the second half, especially once we were a man up.
Rafa Marquez is either a massive klutz or a more massive twit. Stupid, stupid foul, and I'd be furious at him if I were a Mexico fan. (I'm glad Howard looks to be okay.)
