View Full Version : Alert: Off Topic: If you have Direct TV Latino Package they are Pulling ESPN2 From our Channels!!!

Hey guys,

Im spearding word of this to all Latino forums! With that said....


Well i noticed my ESPN2 HD wasnt working, and was showing up as if it wasnt apart of my package, well i call direct tv to fix it as it surely has to be a screw up on their part.

I surprised to find out that they chose to take ESPN2 out of our package, which is a very very important channel not only for Soccer Friendlies, but for Champions League Matches TOO!!!!

With that said, if your like me, and are pissed about losing this channel, COMPLETELY soon, as they took HD and soon will eliminate the whole channel Email them expressing how Pissed off you are. The guy over the phone told me, the more people they hear from, the better cause it could cause them to rethink their decision!

Please express yourself as Direct TV customers, because this isnt fair to us latinos to lose this channel for god knows what reason why they would think we wouldnt want ESPN2!

lol that's true i freaking hate standard Def. and Justin tv is the most horrible thing ever its like watching the game with my glasses blurry

Exactly! I talked to the guy, and he said the only way i can get ESPN2 HD is by getting the English package which was some 50 extra bucks a month! :eek:

Wow I was wondering why my ESPN2 HD was not available anymore...

Thanks for the news BolivanFuego, this truly does suck. :( I sent them my 2 cents...Hopefully it has some effect.

and it's terrible timing too...I don't usually care for ESPN2, but since they show the USA Qualifiers, I do this year :mad:

I already told them I was pissed. ESPN2 HD is an important part of my soccer watching life. I do have espn 2 but normal.

i noticed the espn HD channel gone when i tried tuning in to the Mex vs US NAD game.

i emailed them. this blows.

My bad I meant ESPN 2. I still have ESPN also in HD.
