MLS again insults Tampa Bay by having a preseason game here and making fans PAY to go see it. Oh well... I will go and see Freddy Adu play, I guess, if I have nothing better to do that is.
Also, former Mutiny player Devin Barclay now plays for DC United.

I'm looking foward to the DC United vs Wizards game. It will be nice to see some live soccer.
The money from the match is going to USF's Soccer program.

Well, I was or am a Mutiny fan and I'm still going to go watch this game. I figure that someone other than ourselves can see that we do support Soccer in Tampa. Plus, Freddy Adu could be playing and I wouldn't want to miss that!
P.S.- If you're going, try to bring someone else with you. The more, the merrier! ;)

BTW, Barclay was just traded from DC to the Columbus Crew for future considerations.

I noticed on ticketmaster, they are no longer selling tickets. Are they sold out?

I noticed on ticketmaster, they are no longer selling tickets. Are they sold out? I read in today's Tampa Tribune that the grand stand was just about sold out(3,700). USF is considering letting people on the running track.

Can you read that article online? I cannot find it. Also, are tickets $10 at the gate? I am not believing this...

Well screw it all.
They are sold out and no plans for more seats.
So if you got tickets enjoy. I won't be going.
Last time I let my wife convince me to save money by buying tickets there.
Crap, I was one click away from having the tickets 2 weeks ago....

Ok, thanks to a fellow soccer fan, I am now going! Yoorah!
Now to get to the Stadium, is it easier to take Fowler Ave to Bull Run Dr on campus or turn right on N 50 St then Elm Dr?

not from a lame press link, from some one that visited the beautiful campus, 3,700 cool.....I wish they add some more stands toit, the venue could become a nice stop for many teams in central florida, plus revenue could help the futbol program at USF big time.
has anyone know were to get the Bulls soccer schedule for 2004?

Of course, here is my report:
Yes, it was a great time (again thanks Matt!).
The stadium was packed and when my wife left at half time to get something out of the car, there were STILL people trying to get in the stadium!!! Other notes on the game was there was a loud roar every time Adu touched the ball and I thought the kids there were going to go riot when Freddy get nailed at the corner. It was nice to see actually (the rioting not Freddy getting tackled). Gives you even more hope about the possible positives of our new number one paid hero, Freddy Adu.
BTW in case you didn't know, KC won, 1-0.
