Its not like Bayern hasn't gotten a few breaks in the past from the refs, I'm just glad we were on the receiving end this time. In a few weeks, we'll probably lose a game to a bad call.
With Nova getting sent off in Bochum for supposedly diving for a penalty (he was claerly pushed in the back) Köln were due to get a favorable call eventually. (Nevermind that the Nova sending off came in injury time and had no effect on the Geißbock getting the three points :p)

BTW, speaking of Podolski, with the way he "played" yesterday, I'm pretty sure he had an Koln t-shirt on under his jersey. ;)

Exactly, but his sending off cost us in a later game. Heck, any time Van Bommel doesn't get sent off that's a gift for Bayern.

Translation?
I think they're counting down the number of days until Podolski puts on a Cologne shirt (officially).

You can't see the bottom of it, but it says:

"Poldi - Another 131 days and "The Prince" is again......."

Again, I can't see the bottom of the poster to translate the entire thing.

Eddie, I never said they didn't, did I? Bad calls are unfortunately a part of the game.

But when they are made and they possibly change the outcome of a match, I'll mention it whether it is Bayern getting screwed or not.

Believe me, I would love to say Koln went to Munich and kicked the crap out of Bayern, but that just wasn't the case.

Bayern and Bayern fans have a legitimate gripe. Saying it might happen to you down the line doesn't change that.

you are reading too much into what I wrote.

These things happen, and all non-Bayern fans know how rarely our teams are on the long side of these calls.

Sure they can have a legitimate gripe, but every team has a gripe.

Of course it was the case (from what I've seen)! I can't remember a game when Bayern had so few chances at AA (they could have lost even higher, what shows how fantastic Cologne must have been on this day)...

That tells me you're going from numbers and you didn't actually watch the match.

Numbers can lie Uwe. I'm surprised you don't know that already.

to be honest, if Miro´s goal had counted the whole game would have taken another course, we wouldn `t have been able to play so defensively and we propably wouldn`t have won.

but then I remember a 3 years ago when lahm stopped a Shot of poldi on the line with hi hand and we didn`t get a penalty. So maybe it is karma.

this year ref`s seem to favor us.At least when I think back this season I can hardly remember (aside from the Nova yellow card) a situtation where we were treated unfairly. :D and I tend to have a good memory when it comes to these thins (see one paragraph upwards)

But then we are pretty secure right now and thinks like that always tend to more passionate when you are fighting against relegation.

Too bad I wasn't able to watch the game, wanted to go to Munich with an old school friend who is Bayern Fan, but preferred then again to travel to London with my girlfriend and watch the Priest Feast ;)

But have been in Cologne on monday and it was a blast!

Right on, but that doesn't matter. Bayern still had time to get the job done and they didn't. My comments were against this notion that some seem to believe you guys won because you simply outplayed Bayern.

You did later on, but to ignore what happened with those calls is just wrong.

As I said earlier on this subject, I love to see Bayern lose just as much as anyone else. Probably more.

But not like that......

That being said, I'm still happy you guys got the points.

Mistakes are always made. In that match, I would have been telling Bayern fans that they were helped by the referee.

I don't think it is a conscious thing. I think it is pure luck. As you said before, these things can go against you too.

This is what I tried to tell BVB fans earlier this season when bad refereeing decisions cost us four points.

Naturally, fans tend think referees are "against us" when things don't go our way when the guys really just made mistakes. In one of our cases, it was a very understandable mistake. Embrace it when the mistakes go your way, of course, but don't lose sight of realism.

But then we are pretty secure right now and thinks like that always tend to more passionate when you are fighting against relegation.

Yes, but it makes some people downright delirious...... ;)

somehow I saw that coming. We were way to confident after our success in Bayern

Still in the first half we dominated them and we were the better team through the game. And if Vucicevic had actually the ability to score we would have gotten the three points. And the way we gifted Bielefeld their goal hurts a bit.

I hope Petit and Nova are ok, the second half showed what essential player they are.

On the pro side, ist it me or is Matip becoming stronger with every game.
He was one of our strongest players yesterday. He is becoming better and better in the offence and made some smart passes and good runs.
If he keeps this up he will keep Wome´s spot even if Wome is healthy again.

Also Brosinski and especially Pezzoni were were strong yesterday. It´s nice to see developement in our younger players

also this is the 6th gane in a row we haven´t been beaten

It seems that we don't have to worry. Both players should be available in our next match.

I'm slightly disappointed about the result, but not too much. Many a mickle makes a muckle.
