That should be cool. Take some pics, heard its a beautiful city.
I lived in Heidelberg and the Heidelberg area while on military duty from July 1996-September 1997.
It is awesome!
Still by far my favorite city in Germany and for me by far the most beautiful.

Spot on, as a defender Ehret didn't impress me too much, but as left winger he has done really well for us. I think I read somewhere that he and the club have agreed on signing a new three-year contract. Very good news. Overall this has been a really pleasing season for us. The first half of the season was obviously better than the second, but we kept well safe of the drop zone for most of the time.

I'm already looking forward to next season. Any other rumored additions than the Prince?

I'm sure you've heard of that Maniche rumour? Might of course be completely made up. I wonder whether we're going to see a new goaly next season, Mondragon seems to be pushing it a little too far in the contract negotiations, and although I like him, he's not the youngest anymore.

I do remember that rumor. Nothing else yet?
Do we need to find a new GK yet?

Rumour also has it that we're interested in signing the young Croation playmaker Anas Sharbini.
I don't think that the club would like to replace Mondragon, but in case they can't reach an agreement with Mondi over a new or extended contract, we might have to.

Mondri is about 49 now right?
;)
They better have someone ready soon.
Croatian kid - sounds interesting.
I need a nap.

Would you like it if they'd really sign Maniche? I wonder whether we could afford a player like that, and if he really is what we need. Why is he out of contract anyway, causing trouble, right? I don't know...

Honestly, probably not. I'm not keen on too many Portuguese players, and he's typical hot-head. We need to find some pace out wide, as I expect Broich is gone. Sanou is crap, and no one else comes to mind.

I am not sure about Mondi
He is a good Goaly but even more important he does have leader skills and a fighting spirit that is imo important to the team.
On the other hand, he is getting older and continues to have shoulder problems.
Also due to the relegation there might be some great Goalies like Eilhof or Miller avaibable.

Can you guys afford him?? I hear some mid-table English clubs are interested too??

I'd watch what happens with the relegation playoffs. If Bielefeld gets relegated, I'd definitely make them an offer for Eilhoff.
I saw someone mention KSC's Markus Miller. I would avoid him unless you guys have a very good goalkeeping coach or could possibly talk Toni Schumacher into working with Miller.
Miller definitely has the athletic ability to be a great one, but he makes too many stupid mistakes and is caught out of position far too much.
He would be a good project, but definitely needs work......

I have not idea who Sharbini is to be honest, I was just supplying the latest rumours. If some English clubs are also interested, we might well get the short end of the stick. Also, if Meier doesn't rob a bank, I would be surprised if we were able to spend a lot of money in the summer. Maybe we can sign one or two decent midfielders who are out of contract or something like that.

I agree. Eilhoff is a very good keeper, and Miller seemed to have some problems in his second season in the Bundesliga.

I still think that bayern might ditch Rensing in the summer and sign eilhoff instead. And against bayern we have no chance.
I still rate Miller pretty high despite of his below average season ( but which KSC player hasn`t been below average this season)
Miller is a man that can decide a game. He is able to do incredible saves and isalso strong willed and loud like a goaly in Cologne should be.

Dude, Bayern might get rid of Rensing, but his replacement won't be Dennis Eilhoff.
I think if Bayern goes after any German keeper, it will be Enke and only Enke.

He's also behind on his development as a keeper and needs plenty of work.
Right now, his athletic ability makes up for his lack of goalkeeping instinct, but that lack of instinct also causes him to make mistakes that cost his team valuable points.
So yeah, you might be impresses by a few great, athletic saves he makes, but when he costs your team matches, you'll wonder why the hell you ever wanted him.
As I said a few messages ago, I would avoid him unless you guys have a very good goalkeeping coach or could possibly talk Toni Schumacher into working with Miller.
