I'm glad they lost.... Internacional's team is awful, and i think once again they will be fighting to get rid of the second division... And also, since they lost, Galo and Cruzeiro are the leaders of the competition.... and Cruzeiro has a pretty easy game on Sunday against dead-meat Goiás, so, Galo has to win as well, tomorrow, against Bahia in Fonte Nova, so that he can keep in the run with Cruzeiro's team

What makes you think we are so bad this season, cause we were # 1 with 100% record before we lost to a garbage Flu.new season just started, and we have 4 wins in 5 games.that better than Galo,We even beat Corinthians. We'll beat you and Cruzeiro too.

Inter are a good team, with lots of young blood, our average age is 23.we'll see you soon.

Galo can kiss my bunda.

Inter awful?

Pause for a laugh....

C'mon. Inter this year looks PROMISING. Inter has 18 year old Phenom DIEGO and twin brother DIOGO. Inter has a new striker ANDRE with 3 goals in 5 games. Inter has another 18 year old NILMAR which has come in and scored as a striker. Inter has 2 Under 20 National team players, Cleiton Xavier and Daniel Carvalho.

The team looks good, just needs to play together for a while.

Go COLORADO!!!

For a Galo fan, you speak in such an approving tone of Cruzeiro. Kind of surprising. My mineiro friends have two favorite teams: Either Cruzeiro or Galo, and whoever is playing against the other. I don't hear SoccerScout cheering for Gremio...

Hehehe.... sorry i think i was mistaken... Inter is not such a bad team after all, and see you soon Inter hehehe
About Cruzeiro, i'm realistic, i hate them, i want them off, but i have to admit their team is strong, much greater than Goias. I don't cheer for Cruzeiro, eeeww, they're pattetic, and they will fall! See you all in the next rounds!

Jéfferson Feijão is also very good for a 19 year old.
We also have 3 players in U15 and 3 in U18.

just for the record, i always cheer the team that is playing against Cruzeiro... Last Sunday Goiás was pressuring them like crazy and I almost went nuts when Gomes did a lot of saves.... sigh.... One of the memorable moments of my life was when Cruzeiro lost 98 championship to Corinthians 2-0... I putted my Galo's shirt and went to the streets to celebrate(i wasnt the only one, there were a lot of fireworks on BH that day). But that proved to be a wrong move, because a angry Cruzeiro fan throwed stones at me from the high of his apartment... Anyways, it was a fun day! =)
I HATE CRUZEIRO, AND I ALWAYS WILL HATE THEM

just to memorize: Borussia 2 X 0 Cruzeiro was a great game as well!!!

Yet another interesting game in Brazil today, vice-leader Inter with its youth play defending champs Santos of Robinho and Diego.

This is an important game for Inter that somehow has managed to be in 2nd place. The team has a bunch of young talented players like Nilmar (18), Diego (18), Daniel Carvalho (20), Ceiton Xaxier (20) but has played well consistently. Now they play Santos of Diego (18) and Robinho (19) IN Santos. Santos a team that is favorite to make the Libertadores final.

A win today or even a tie can go a long way for Inter especially since they are only 2 points behind the eader Cruzeiro. Even with a loss Inter is guarenteed to stay in 2nd this week since nobody can reach them.

The game will be on Live Globo TV Channel 596 (DISH network) at 5PM EST.

Once again inexpirience costs Colorado. The team is obviously brimming with young talent....and the biggest young talent of the crop, Diego, until very late in game. They took a 1-0 after a brilliant indiviual run from Daniel Carvalho set up Edu Silva, who's finish of the job was just as good.

But after that, Santos was able to apply pressure on Colorado. The offense dried up while the law of averages finally caught up with the defense.

Ah the days one could enjoy their home club and know that they were unbeatable, unstoppable. With all the transfers going around and all the money calling players in Europe, teams rarely stay together for long and many countries lose their best players to deep pocketed Euro clubs. Even there under 20 players leave early.

Here is an example of one of the greatest teams of all time. A team that at the time was untouched by foreign buyers, a dynasty that was practically unbeatable. A Machine. Look at the stats.

Check out the home standing scores, just unbeatable. Why did the other clubs even show up?

Inter 6x0 Figuerense
Inter 3x1 Gremio (local classic)
Inter 3x0 Rio Branco
Inter 1x0 Palmeiras
Inter 2x0 America RN
Inter 2x0 Fortaleza
Inetr 3x0 Botafogo-SP
Inter 5x1 Santa Cruz
Inter 2x0 Caxias
Inter 2x0 Ponte Preta
Inter 3x0 Portuguesa
Inter 2x1 Atletico (SEMI-FINAL)
Inter 2x0 Corinthians (FINAL)

13 Home games. 13 Wins - 0 Losses 36 Goals for only 3 against. Talk about home field advantage.

This same team had still a good away record:
6 Wins, 1 Tie, 3 losses 23 Goals for - 10 against

This team is one of Brazils best club sides ever, the 1976 Brazilian Champs Internacional from Porto Alegre. The lineup was full of talent:

Manga
Claudio Duarte
Figueroa
Marinho
Vacaria
Cacapava
Batista
Falcao
Valdomiro
Dario
Lula

You could go to the stadium know your team will score, just a matter of how many. Three years later in 1979 Inter would become the only Brazilian Champion to be crowned UNDEFEATED. Those were the days. Today clubs seem to win and lose randomly. One day they will win 4x0 and the next lose 1x6. Logic has totally left the soccer fields.

This match was played at 3:00 PM (local time) to use daylight, once the Beira-Rio's illumination system is being replaced. The expected attendance was under 10,000 but surprisingly there were almost 30,000 supporters (including me).

With this result, INTER jumped to 4th place, with 41 points, close to São Paulo (3rd with 43) and ahead of Coritiba itself (now 5th with 39 points).

The lonely goal was scored by Nilmar, after a great play from Edu Silva in the right side (he is the left wing, BTW). After a cross from the left, the defense managed to send the ball away, but Edu Silva came in speed, passed two defenders and crossed a low ball, that Nilmar just tapped in.

The score could have been larger if Jeferson Feijão could make a shot from 2 major attacks. In the ugliest, he missed the ball from penalty spot alone, and blamed the sun in his eyes...

Alex.
