Inspired by the Ronaldo vs Messi thread I bring you the Lennon vs L.Messi thread. Keep in mind English fans actually really thought this was a contest no more than 2 years ago while Imo it’s now quite clear Lennon is superior but hell who am I.

Who is better?

This thread won't last more than 2 pages, it's no contest for Messi.

I liked Instant Karma, but although Messi hasn't written any songs (as yet) he is a better dribbler than John.

Care to back that up? Or are you just intent on spouting drivel in every post you make.

Yeah, we get it. You hate English football.

Why not try and branch out a bit with your posts, it's so boring after the 100th time. At the moment your basically Duckmason after a lobotomy.

I really like Lennon, but I'm a Paul man myself, and it's a shame that there's people who still overlook his stuff. Uncle Albert, Heaven on a Sunday, Pipes of Peace, Maybe I'm Amazed, Hope of Deliverance, Too Much Rain, Jenny Wren, Calico Skies, Dear Boy, Bluebird, Band on the Run, Ebony and Ivory, Live and Let Die... it's just too many awesome and beautiful songs throughout his lenghty carreer.

Heck, I spent most of my life remembering No More Lonely Nights as a cheesy song, until I gave it a listen again when I was 18, and it's awesome!

Lennon all the way.
Although I must admit I've never heard any of Messi's songs. :o

Absolutely. He'd just hold it with his feet, as good as he is at using them.
Don't know if he can strum a guitar like Lennon but I hear he can "fiddle" with defences quite easily.

Are you kidding me???!?!?!?!?

What a stupid thread topic.......it's, like, no contest.......

Aaron Lennon is lightyears better than Lionel Messi.

Also, I just wanted to say that the sky is purple, pigs do, in fact, fly, and Cristiano Ronaldo is a genuinely nice person.

Lennon plays in the Premier League. I'm quite sure you aren't allowed to play in there unless you are 10 X better than anyone in La Liga and 9 - 19 X better than anyone in Serie A (everything in Italy is negotiable).

So yeah Lennon.

No English player will ever be on the same level as Messi let alone better

Unless you are talking about being played on video games or being watched in Hollywood movies

Mate, I don’t hate anything about football. I basically like every aspect of the beautiful game. I find the English style generally hilarious yes but hating it? Nah. It’s good to have totally different styles it makes the game unique. I am a tall striker myself and controlling a long ball is one of my favorite parts of the game on a technical level, however there is a significant difference when Pirlo passes a long ball and Gerrard does.
