That was weird.
Never have I seen the ball stay on the hands of a player w/out a call being given. It was on his hand for like 5 seconds it seemed!

The finishing on both sides was absolutely awful today. I really think that we could have played for another hour or two, and still nobody would have scored. Unbelievable how many chances were wasted.
Unfortunately, the game was not on the same level as the Hinrunde match, and this was not just because of the lack of goals.
Sanogo probably knows the saying "drei mal ist Bremer Recht", he is still a Bremer at heart. :D

At least he tried this time, the noch-bremer.

You can have him, as long as you pay the asking price. I hope he'll score a bagful in the coming matches to seal the deal.
P.S.: This was the first time in Bundesliga history that a player hit the post thrice in a match.

Wow. I could live without that record ! Is it just me or was San*go the best Bremen player after missing the goal three times ? ;)

He can do it 90 minutes without getting a call, because it wasn´t on purpose.
If you watch the scene again, you can see Tziolis and Baumann not looking at the ball when it came there. That´s no active movement and not on purpose if you can´t see where the ball is, so no penalty.
Very rare scene, i agree.

Hoffenheim also had no injuries at all the first half of the season, a good reason why people question how they would fare if they actually had injuries. Did you really believe the team would go the whole season with no injuries for seasons to go? It's normal.

We had (smaller) injuries at the first half, too. ;) Obasi missed the first 3 games, and some of the last from the frst half. If there would be no winter break he would have been out, because he was also injured during that period.
We have the smallest squad, yes. but now it is getting too much, we are missing 3 top players.

Well, your next opponent was missing no less then 11 Players last weekend, at least 8 of whom (Pröll, Russ, Vasoski, Spycher, Caio, Fenin, Amanatidis, Liberopolous) would probably be in our first team if fit. Some of them should be back on saturday tough...

Really ? To add those who were banned we missed 6 players (who play in the first team) against Bremen ! ;)
I know that we are not going to win in Frankfurt, thats for sure.

We also missed 3 top player against you (Frings, Naldo, Özil) plus Fritz
and had to players coming back from injuries (Wiese - good), Hunt (horrible).
So we saw a good B-side vs. B-side match last weekend. ;)
@Doc: WTF - 11 missed players. That is horrible. All the best for the players recovery. Same to Hoffenheim and especially Ibesivic.
