Wednesday:
Ruby Tuesday Bar
This party is brought to you by Hudson Street Hooligans, who have been great to work with and are an amazing supporters group (even though they support the Crew). These guys are awesome. This bar is a 5 minute walk to the stadium, so we will be priming and hoping to have all fans meeting up at this bar starting at 1:00 pm in the afternoon.
Drink Specials, pizza, US Soccer highlights on the tube, everything you didn't get for Christmas that you asked for. Donations will be taken here for pizza and beer at the tailgate.
There will also be a Tippy Cup Tournament (or "Flipcup," for all you non-Nebraskans), with the winners getting a free soccer ball.
People under 21 are welcome, but can't drink of course.
This bar can hold up to 400-500 people, so don't be shy. If it does get overcrowded, the tailgate is a short walk away.
March to Tailgate
We will then march from Ruby Tuesday to the tailgate location (shown in picture), shooting smoke bombs, and saying things about dirty Sanchez's mother. We hope to start the march at 4:30ish.
Red Bull Girls will be meeting us between bar and Tailgate for a quick energy boost.
Tailgate:
Southwest Corner of VIP lot and Southeast Corner of West Preferred Lot (see picture).
4:45pm - 6:00pm
There will be some beer at the tailgate for those who donate or who donated at Ruby Tuesdays. There will also be heaters for the pansies.
Parking Lot and Stadium:
The parking lot opens around noon for those of you ready to brave the cold. The gates to the stadium open at 5:30.
BANNERS, DRUMS, and BIG FLAGS:
Anyone bringing in big stuff like Banners, Drums, and Flags, CONTACT jbrunken@theamericanoutlaws.com via email. We will be meeting US Soccer reps at 4:00 pm before the game at Gate 5, but I need to let them know who will be there.
Nike:
Nike will have a strong presence at this game and have worked with multiple supporters groups.
RED -
US Soccer & Nike are asking that every US fan wear RED to this game. We will be selling our scarves which are largely red and red AO shirts at the bar.
30 Drummers- NIKE have sprung for a group of the Ohio State marching band's drummers to make us even louder on the march into the stadium from the tailgate, and throughout the game.
Video Documentary- NIKE are doing some sort of documentary on the game, and will be asking you to sign a waiver to be in it. The waivers will be at the tailgate.
American Outlaws, Hudson Street Hooligans, Sons of Ben, Nike and many others will be on the ground at all these places, with merch and crap available, particularly at Ruby Tuesdays.
It is going to be an unbelievable night.
