I actually brought this subject up a few months ago. PSG, Marseille and Lyon have just as much talent as Monaco does despite their tax advantages. Monaco's depth isn't that great either. Monaco are not in the Champiosn League every single year anyway so its not like they are "stealing" a spot year after year after year. French chiefs please stop your whining because if Monaco leaves to go play in Italy it would be a huge loss for your league. Monaco helps give your league some positive press throughout Europe because they are doing so well dont' be stupid and drive them away. If Monaco didnt have their social and tax advantages since they have no fans they'd probably be just another Guingamp or Bastia and we dont want that to happen because we want France to have as many big clubs as possible.

What's next, extra places for Scottish teams not named "Celtic" or "Rangers"? If you want Monaco in your league, then--and this may be a bit of a shock to socialist France--that means you need to compete with them.

Monaco have only won 7 championships in league history so its not like they have completely dominated everyone. You would have think they would have won more because of their "advantages." Why are French complaining about them right now why didnt they 20 or 30 years ago. Maybe they did but I wasnt around then to know. The extra places for teams other than Celtic or Rangers makes a lot more sense than this done. Their should be plenty of teams to compete with Monaco but its a joke because you have clubs in large cities like Toulouse, Montpellier, Strasbourg and Nice who should be spending a lot of money to compete but they have tiny budgets.

But all the other teams have more people in their cities to feill their stadiums! That's not fair! I propose expanding Monaco's boundaries into France so they can have a larger base.

I don't know if we should have an other spot in european cup, but I think that it's not fair that while there playing in the same league they don't have to respect the same rules.
This problem also exists at the european level as the club don't pay the same tax depending on the country they're from, and also some of them can have huge debts while it's impossible in France (actually I think it's better this way, so we don't have problem like the leeds' one).

I dont know if its impossible to have huge debts in France I thought Montpellier was in bad shape with debts.

hopefully montpellier owner is friends with rennes' owner, who always buys 1 or 2 players from him each season :)
