how about if instead of another world cup every two years, if every other rotating with world cup, there was a tournment of just the confederation....

oceania, conacaf, conembol, africa, europe, aisa, a best 21 or 23 from each country playing a round robin or home and away with each country through out the year...

so ideas and comments on who would make the team say if it were held this year, and coaches....

forgive me if this has been brought up before

couldnt play that many internationals...club duty is first as they pay the wages....no manager/chairman would ever allow that many internations for a tournament of this kind....

Same goes for Argentines and Brazilians representing CONMEBOL, Mexicans and Americans representing CONCACAF, Japanese and Koreans representing AFC, etc, etc.

but id however like the idea of pitting region against region. How about pitting Region all-stars vs each other? Let the winning coach of each regions cup (Euro, Gold Cup, Copa America, etc.) coach the 23 best players of each region. And to keep it fair let the region chairmen name the teams. Now thats is something i think would be cool.

Only if you guarantee appearance money, pay for a executive jet and a suite at the best hotel, limo to and from the pitch.
