Man, you gotta hope this kid can move on from this. Pretty tough of the Japanese baseball league to run him out of the country that way. I'm not confident MLB is going to prove any more hospitable though.

We should have a pool betting on who the first Indians player to call a news conference announcing he is NOT gay will be. I say Gerut. You can't be named Jody and not have to regularly defend your sexuality.

What I would like to know is, who among us hasn't made a gay porn video or two in our weaker (and, as the case maybe, drunker) moments? It's practically rite of passage for any healthy young male.

I really don't think this is going to go over well. Just a hunch.

Through an interpreter, Tadano added: "I'm not gay. I'd like to clear that fact up right now."
Bwahahahahahahaha!!! This kid is in for some mighty long bus rides on the minor league circuit.

CLEVELAND -- Indians minor league pitcher Kazuhito Tadano...
How ironic it would be if this guy was actually catching, and not pitching, in the video.

Toshi and I, we had a good time on the set, but we understood that once the cameras were off, that was it. We concentrated on doing the best job we could while the cameras rolled, but we did not allow ourselves to get emotionally involved, for better or worse. It was purely business and taking any of it beyond Studio 3742C would have been unprofessional of me.

It's sad to think that a murderer would have an easier time in professional sports than a gay guy. Maybe Todd Jones, a pitcher too crappy for the Colorado Rockies, will chime in about how he wouldn't want to play with the gay guy. Sheesh.
I sure hope this guy makes the major leagues.
