No team thrives and falls by their superstar like Atlanta. MVP right now is Ilya Kovalchuk

Kovalchuk should not be the MVP, if for no other reason, that the Thrashers are not going to make the playoffs.
Rick Nash is having a better year, so if we were going to consider non-playoff teams, Nash is a better choice.

Brodeur is a brick wall. MVP and Vezina throphy winner.
very little doubt about this 10 shutouts before the all-star break?

Nah, I don't buy the "if they don't make the playoffs" thing. Just imagine how bad the Thrashers would be without Kovalchuk.

By the way, I vote for Dale Purinton for MVP. Dale, you missed about a quarter of the season because you were "inadequate", but never gave up. Now thanks to injuries to fragile defensemen like Greg DeVries and Darius Kasparaitis, you have a regular starting spot on the Rangers tremendous defense. Your hard work and endless amount of heart is an inspiration to us all. God bless.
