Did anyone else with DISH get inexplicably locked out of the Ajax-NEC match yesterday on FSW? I know I am regularly locked out of games on my local Fox Sports affiliate that conflict with league attendance rules, but I don't think this could possibly qualify. This was obviously a mistake, and I'm a bit miffed about it. I was actually looking forward to watching this match, I wanted to see how JOB was playing. Anyone else have this problem, or was it just a conspiracy against my household??

I received similar complaints from other DISH Network subscribers.

This was obviously a computer data input error by DISH Network.

I was really upset up it. I had been looking forward to seeing that match.

Here was something odd about it though. On the menu for it the system offered to sell it to me as PPV for $0.00. Unfortunately, I couldn't give it a try since my receivers aren't hooked up to the phone line.

Let's hope this doesn't turn into a regular problem.

It's funny, I was looking through the guide function to see when the game was on earlier in the day. Usually the guide description on the time block is a generic "soccer" or at best "Dutch Soccer" and you have to press the "info" button to find out who is playing, and that only works if DISH has recieved the info ahead of time. Well, I did pressed info, and sure enough it read "Ajax vs NEC" in the description, but I noticed the "circle with a cross through it" symbol at the bottom, which usually signifies that the program will be locked out for my viewing area. I thought to myself that it had to be a mistake, why the heck would they block THIS out? I should have called DISH then, perhaps they could have fixed it........I doubt it....but maybe.

It's my fault, guys. I really needed to study last night, but for some odd reason I found myself picking up the remote just to see what was on. I was shocked to see that it was blocked, but since I had to study, I figured it was a good thing.

Granted, it didn't help that Newcastle and Liverpool were on right after. Yeah, like I was able to turn that game off.

I have digital and that happened to me just once. I clicked on "watch" or "order" or whatever and the game popped up. NO charge, and it didn't happen again. I have the date and time it did happen written down, though, in case it ever happens again, at which time I'll call Comcast.
