My sister and I go to the same high school that Wade Barrett went to, but it seems like we are the only ones who even know what MLS is. There is nothing in our school that says he won the MLS Cup, or has anything to do with MLS period.
So I decided to make this thing to hang up in our gym(if you go to the fav players/player thread under SJ Earthquakes board, youll see what we are talking about)
This is where you guys can help: Even though he doesnt play for this team, I was wondering if you guys had any pictures or articals out of magazines that you arent attached to that we could put up on our project, or if you guys know where I can get a poster of him, that would be a huge help

You might want to call the SJ Earthquakes front office to see if they can send you a poster of Wade.
I'll bet they send you something, but if not, ask your school's soccer coach or principal to request a poster, game jersey, etc.

They don't know about MLS? I'd start from the grass roots. Wear the SJ replica shirt, start conversations about it with your friends (even if they don't listen), write about it in the school paper (thats what i did), you know easy stuff. I'd start working towards shrines to players a little later on.

I can't believe they've never heard of MLS.
The soccer teams at my school regularly go to games (Myself and some of the coaches are season ticket holders), and most of the people in my school have at least heard of DC United, even if they don't go to the games. They also know players names, most notably Eddie Pope and Marco Etcheverry.
