From the Sunday Times:

Queens Park Rangers were hoping to sign Aston Villa winger Peter Hynes on loan last week. At present they have a midfield player called Marcus Bean. Now, if they could get Eirik Bakke on loan from impoverished Leeds United, what a midfield they would be able to unleash on the Second Division: Hynes Bakke Bean. This from a team that fielded Doudou and Shittu last season.

The once great Times and Sunday Times newspapers, reduced to making Doudou and Bakke
Beans jokes. You can tell they`re owned by Murdoch.

So you're telling me you find no humor what so ever in their names....... I would think the ESPN Sportcenter gang would have a field day if they got a hold of someting like this! Imagine Stewert Scott or Kenny Maine calling the highlights!

I'm hurting so bad right now from laughing at the possibilities I can't stand it.

Now I don`t no if there`s any sarcasm in your post, but yes I can see the humour in it. I suppose the commentary would go somthing like `Now here`s Doudou, Doudou, he must score, he squares it to Shittu, still Shittu, Shhiitttuuuuu, ohhh yeessss and and thats why the Rangers fans love Shittu`. And it would be funny, but thats for The Sun and the Daily Star not The Times. Besides the Heinz Baked Beans joke wasn`t even close. Peter Hynes actually joined Cheltenham on loan and I can`t see Erik Bakke dropping two divisions to join QPR. So they`ve just got Marcus Bean. So it would be `Bean, Bean, still Bean`. I`ve heard better I`ve got to say.

Most people laugh at QPR!
