What is Wes Anderson making in Rome?

Right now Owen Wilson, Willem DaFoe, and Bill Murray have been around downtown Rome (Campo Di Fiori, mostly) bars (I've seen them and I forgot how short most actors are) and I guess they're making a movie here. What's goin' on?

I assume this is also why Willem will not be in Boondock Saints 2...

I don't understand why there should be a boondock saints 2 in the first place.

I asked this in another thread and I'll ask it again here ..... Is Wes Anderson a soccer fan? In The LIfe Aquatic, apparently the main character is Steve Zissou (close to Zizzou) and there is a Brazilian character named Pele dos Santos. Interesting.
