Watched the match. Was not too pretty but was not too bad either. Not as good as against Mainz but we suck at home, so ANY points we take are good. Tschauner (aka, Patzer Man) took what was a comfortable 2-0 lead and verspielt it into a 2-1 cliff-hanger. 1860 had the game in control with only a few danger moments and felt like a 3 goal was just moments away. Then Patzer Man comes out and misses a loft into the box which is headed over him into the goal. Forget the fact the guy who headed it on had to climb onto Mate G. to put it in and foul him in the process. We hung on anyway for the win.

The ref was TERRIBLE. It was a rugby game from the Ahlen perspective for a good 55mins without a caution. In fact, 1860 got the first caution!?!?!?!?!

Do you think the new guys are stupid enough to go for a Rukavina/Schaeffler trade???

I say "stupid enough" because I believe while Schaeffler is nothing special, he does have tremendous upside. He just needs the proper training. Rukavina is a guy BVB doesn't want back anyhow.

Rukavina would continue to be a great help at 1860, but worth one of the club's top talents?

I must say I usually respect your views, but this time you're way off the mark.
Schaeffler and talent don't agree. He's a clumsy waste of space. I'd love to see him leaving. I don't think he will improve. He might be an average BL3 striker, but has not got the talent to make a breakthrough in BL2.

I don't totally disagree with you there, but I think you're a bit harsh on the kid.

He is also still listed as one of the club's top talents, so that's what I was going with there.

Anyhow, I later apologized for posting the bad rumor.

BVB has no interest.

But if you listen to my good friend LoewenBoy, Schaeffler just needs to score a couple and the floodgates will open.

What I actually said was that if the kid had a team that was solid, few injuries in key positions and in a club that did not have its head up its ass, he would eventually click and live up to expectations.

Right now with so many injuries in key positions and the club state of affairs such that they are, he is on a Lauth track, if that.

Well, I think I have finally found the answer as to why I always seemed to date the best-looking girls in Germany when I lived there. Reason? German men have ZERO taste.

Case in point: The latest 1860 "Grass Bunny" contest. Now, I am not saying that this week's bunch are pigs. In fact, I think this is the best group we have had in a while. But HONESTLY....is there any man who thinks Magdalena is better than Alice or Sabrina? I mean, C'MON!!! Sure I bet Magdalena cooks a mean Vienerschitzel, but can you honestly say that you would rather have her on your arm on the Weis'n than Alice or even Sabrina?
