If you did not know her politics and saw her 20 years ago on the Weis'n you'd think differently.
Not with that freakin' adams apple, I wouldn't.
Not everyone shares your taste man.....

And, to get this somewhat back on topic, I found out this morning that I have tickets for the FSV Frankfurt match as well! This will be excellent!
Was there any doubt? I told you before, you'll get tickets to that one walking up at the window on match night. One little 5-1 over St. Pauli isn't going to change that.
LMAO!! :D ;)

So I am reviewing the Weisses Brauhaus menu, in mental and physical preparation for the 1860 match, and am stuttering at the wealth of choices...
Schwarzer und weißer Pressack aus der eigenen Metzgerei
in Essig und Öl... Obatzda... I mean WOW... I will be screaming my heart out at the AA after all of this great food and drink!
[Un-shun]
Allow me to suggest.....
Kräftige, hausgemachte Rindssuppe mit frischem Leberknödel OR Leberspaetzlesuppe.
The Shrine....Mecca

My buddy from Munich is also taking me to Unionsbrau and Fliegerbrau... Not familiar with them, but them seem like traditional (Non-Big Six) places... Hell, I am dying here...

Two things:
Just saw their price for a 0,5l bier...3.45!!!!!! JESUS have costs gone up!!!!!!!
Unionbrau is just down the street from where you will be staying. great little brewery, not very big. Believe they are owned by Loewenbrau. Not a ton of different biers, but decent enough. Officially in the borrough of Haidhausen. Fliegerbrau is a bit like a boutique beer from a consortium of other small brewers It is out in Feldkirchen which is a bit of a hike (off the A94). If you want a better place with essentially the same contract beer, go to Isar Brau. It's near Grossehesselohe (http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Kreuzeckstra%C3%9Fe+23,+82049+Pullach,+Germany&geocode=&dirflg=&daddr=Gr%C3%BCnwalder+Str.+114,+81547+M%C3%BCnchen&f=d&hl=en&sll=48.070193,11.53161&sspn=0.017522,0.045319&ie=UTF8&ll=48.091725,11.551266&spn=0.070057,0.181274&t=h&z=13) and on the other side of the river from Gruenwalderstrasse, but a MUCH nicer place than Feldkirchen.

Dumb question #547...
Is there any "standard issue" gear that every supporter needs to have? I am definitely picking up scarves and some t-shirts, but a trikot and 0.5L krug is not out of the question...

Depnds on your pain point. Trikots are hard to get here and would cost a fortune to ship. Training jackets are nice and impossible to get here. I usually stock up when I go. May is the best time because they are usually having sales...especially this year since trenkwalder won't be the sponsor next season, so the 70 Euro kit you buy in March will be 40 Euros in May.:(

No shorts for me, so the trikot top will be only Euro 45,00. I can handle that. Perhaps even TWO of them. Blau und Weiss und the greed/gold.

Hmmm... apparently not. The XL trikot is Euro 69,90... Conspiracy there.

Stoffers and Schwarzer. How appropriate that toilet paper is hanging in the background behind them. They have has cornered Schwarzer in the men's room for the photo op. 1860 is working out terms to repay the loan of $$ he gave so we could get Rukanvina and Gulan.

Many fans have been clamouring to get out of the AA and return to the GW stadion. However, one quick look at the facility will change your mind. Forget that it was built by the Romans in 30 A.D., let's look at this practically. So far this season we have had to cancel TWO home games because of snow and field conditions. And yet, no games have been cancelled at the AA. In fact, the U23 have had a totally of 3 games cancelled this spring. One team, FC Heidenheim, has had FIVE cancelled this spring!!!!! Their upcoming schedule has them playing up to 3 games in one week for three weeks straight just to catch up!!!!
So, that argument for a lesser stadium just seem to be even more stupid when you take things like this into account.
Just a Friday morning obervation.;)

Damn. And here I sit thinking that the fact the club would almost certainly go bankrupt if it moves back there would be enough to change minds........
