Can we build on the Stoke win with more points away at Bolton? We should see the debuts of Palacios and Chimbonda. Anyone know if Gomes is fit yet, or will we see Carlo again?
On their side, they have just let Kevin Nolan go, and gave up a 2 goal lead to Blackburn in the week. Elmander is injured too so things are not going their way. Jaskalleinen (sp?) can keep any team out on his day, though.
I don't expect many goals.

A lot of six pointers this weekend. The table will look much different Monday than it did Sunday.
Three points would be fantastic, but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.
Its so tight, that Hull could actually be three points out of a relegation spot after this round.

Being reported on a few of the sites now that Defoe is out for the season.
Now we're going to scramble to find another striker at the end of the window, again. God dammit.

losing nolan is a major blow to bolton. he was the heart and sould of that team. we really should take full points from this match, but it probably wont come easy if defoe is really out or if Jaaskelainen starts doing miricles. goals certainly wont come easy.

This is a huge blow and we need him back no later than 1st March.
We'll almost certainly play 4-5-1 tomorrow in light of this.

Perfect time for GDS to shine. Reports got him going to Pompey but he is class and if Harry does that I will be extremely pissed. GDS can come in handy up front and should start along with Pav.

My probable lineup...with Defoe out and Zokora as an important member of our team(according to our gaffer)...
--------------Cudicini---------
Corluka--Woodie--Dawson--BAE
Bentley--Palacios--Zokora--Lennon
--------------Modric----------
--------------Pavy-----------
Subs: Gomes, Chimbonda, Bale, Jenas, Taarabt, Campbell, Bent.

That's pretty good in the absence of Defoe. But I think he'll find space for Chimbonda in the back line, at the expense of Dawson.
I can see us sneaking a goal from Lennon or Modric and then playing it tight.

Hmm...but Dawson understanding with Woodie is better. And for me, Dawson is 1 of the better players this season, i hope he keep his place. Chimbonda will have to fight for his place.

Gio won't start...either Pav up front on his own with Luka in the hole (likely) or joined by Campbell or Bent (FC more likely than Bent IMO)

I agree completely, it's just I thought he would put in the new signing. But apparently not.
Streams anyone?
