Update: Owen injured his ankle in Wednesday night's 2-1 loss to Manchester City, and early signs point to him missing six to eight weeks according to The Premier League website.
Analysis: Newcastle are within striking distance of the relegation zone, and this might be the very, very last thing they, or Owen needed to happen. It's going to get ugly, as Newcastle's ownership situation has them being more sellers than buyers this January.
